Knauf Insulation has created this Privacy Notice to demonstrate our commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website, www.knaufnorthamerica.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Notice does not apply to information collected through third-party websites or services that you may access through this site, including the Knauf Insulation Corporate website or other Knauf Insulation websites targeted to users in other countries.

“Knauf Insulation” refers to Knauf Insulation, Inc. on behalf of itself and its affiliates, Knauf Insulation Ltd. and Manson Insulation Products Ltd.

What Types of Personal Information We Collect

The following are the categories and types of personal information that we may collect from or about you, depending on how you interact with us: 

• Direct identifiers. Direct personal identifiers, such as name, online identifier, online username or social media handle. 
• Contact information. Direct personal identifiers such as email address or phone number and indirect identifiers like postal address.
• Commercial Information. Products you have purchased, payment information such as credit or debit card numbers, and shipping address.
• Communication Information: Non-content information (like time of day and addressing information) and content information about your communications with us through the use of embedded search features, chatrooms, forums, submission forms, or message boards provided by us, or through phone calls, video calls, emails, and text messages (such as the body of the message you send or the transcript or summary of your phone call).
• User Content. Information such as your communications with us and any other content you provide, such as social media profiles, images, videos, survey responses, comments, product reviews, testimonials, and other content. 
• Profile Information: Inferences drawn from any of the information described above or below to create a profile about you reflecting your preferences or characteristics.
• Audio and Visual Information. Information such as photographs, images, videos, and recordings of your voice (such as when we record customer service calls for quality assurance).

We collect personal information automatically as you use the Services. The technologies we deploy through the Services collect your device information, browsing actions, and patterns as follows:

• Device Identifiers. Information about the device you are using, such as device identifier of the equipment you use to access the website, your device type, screen size, the browser you use, hardware model, Media Access Control (MAC) address, IP address, and operating system.
• Online Identifiers. Persistent or probabilistic identifiers gathered from Online Tracking Technologies (discussed below), such as cookies and pixels, used to pseudonymously identify you and your website preferences.
• Usage Information. Information about your interaction with the Services, such as the pages you access on the Services, the frequency of access, what you click on, referring URL, traffic data, searches you make, when you accessed the website, and your clicks, taps, scrolls on the Services.
• Location Information. Information about your location, which may be determined through your device’s IP address and may include precise geolocation information.
• Clickstream Data. We may record what you have clicked while on the Services. This data can tell us about Device Identifiers and the address of the website from which you linked to the website. We may collect and use clickstream data as a form of aggregate information to anonymously determine how much time visitors spend on each page of the website, and how customers navigate to and on the website.

How We Collect Personal information

Personal Information You Provide Directly

The personal information we collect on or through the Services directly from you may include:

The Site has features that automatically collect information from you to honor your preferences, allow us to improve our Website and provide you with tailored advertising.  

Data Processing Location

Any Personal Information collected about visitors through the Site is processed in the United States by us or by a party acting on our behalf. When you provide Personal Information to us through the Site, you consent to the processing of your data in the United States. The Site is hosted in the United States. 

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for any of the following purposes:

• to provide the Site to you;

Disclosures To Third Parties, “Sales” of Personal information, and Targeted Advertising

Although we don’t exchange your personal information for money, we do disclose your personal information to third parties for our benefit, such as to use online advertising services. This is a “sale” of personal information in some jurisdictions. These Third Parties collect personal information about your online activities over time and across other websites.

About Children and Minors 

We do not market the Services to, and do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from, individuals under the age of 18. We do not intend the Services for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not use personal information collected from children or minors for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not disclose such information to any third-party for any purpose whatsoever. No one under the age of 18 may provide any personal information to or on the Services.

If you are under 18, do not provide any information on the Website or on or through any of the features of the Services, register on the Services, make any purchases through the Services, or provide any information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from an individual under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

• Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purposes of the processing of the personal information.
• Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete any personal information we have collected from you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to request that we cease disclosing your personal information to Third Parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sharing: You have the right to request that we cease disclosing your personal information to a Third Party to target advertising to you based on the personal information obtained from your activity across businesses, distinctly branded internet websites, applications, or services.
• Right to Limit: You have the right to request that we limit our use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to specific, statutorily permitted purposes.
• Right to Know: You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

For the security of your personal information and our own legal obligations, we will require you to verify your identity with us for all rights requests, other than to Opt-Out of Sale and Opt-Out of Sharing, by providing us with your full name, email address or phone number.
