A rigid, heavy density board providing both thermal and acoustical insulation, made from inorganic glass fibers bonded by a thermosetting binder. Its base board is brown with a black mat facing on the airstream surface.

Extra durable

This durable and rigid board is for use on flat duct surfaces. Typical applications include fan plenums and air distribution ducting on industrial and commercial heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems.

Thermal & Acoustic

Akousti-Liner R is useful both for creating more energy-efficient spaces, as well as for absorbing sound to reduce unwanted noise.

Sustainable

Akousti-Liner R is made with our bio-based ECOSE® binder and is formaldehyde-free. It’s also made with at least 50% recycled glass.
