Akousti-Shield™

A flexible blanket providing acoustical insulation and a visual barrier, with a black mat facing adhered to one surface. It can be mechanically fastened to walls and covered with fabric, or suspended above linear metal and metal pan ceiling systems to serve as both a visual and acoustical treatment.

Product Features
Sound Control
Designed for spaces where acoustic insulation is a must, such as theaters, sound studios, and public concourses.
Durable & Dark
This flexible insulation has a smooth, tough surface that resists damage during installation, and the black mat facing meets black surface requirements.
Sustainable
Akousti-Shield is made with our bio-based ECOSE® binder and is formaldehyde-free. It’s also made with at least 50% recycled glass.
